I'm Jen Forsthoff, and I offer support to strengthen the heart and hands of the special-needs parent through resources that will encourage and inspire hope. 

I’ve written two books which are Chosen for Charlie: When God Gifts You With a Special- Needs Child and Champion For Charlie: Rise Up and Advocate For Your Child. These books have inspired hope for the special-needs parent across the world, impacting families and serving as resources to support ministries and organizations centered around those with special needs. They are enabling parents and families to embrace their calling, find support, and move forward with purpose as they care for the child chosen and gifted to them.

Me and my pastor-husband, Lucas, live in Michigan with our three children. My oldest, Charlie, was diagnosed with Trisomy 21 at birth and has opened our eyes to the needs of families just like ours. Raising Charlie, along with my experience as a classroom teacher and in ministry, has fueled my passion to positively impact families who face the challenge of parenting a child with special needs.  

I write, speak, and advocate for families who need a message of hope and biblical truth to shape the everyday perspective of their role as the parent and champion for their child.  I invite you to join me and be filled with hope today!
